Jussara Korngold

Jussara Korngold, BS, MBA, was born in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. She is married to João Korngold, and they have a son, Gabriel Korngold. They have been living in the U.S.A. since February 1996, and prior to that they lived in London-UK for almost 3 years.

Mrs. Korngold worked for The Chase Manhattan Bank for 6 years at the corporate division and at the representative office in Brazil. She also worked for 2 years at American Express, Inc. as a manager of corporate accounts, and for 2 years at Citibank as vice-president of corporate accounts. For the past 8 years, Jussara Korngold has been working as a volunteer in the office of Friends of Renascer (Associação Saúde Criança Renascer (ASCR)) in New York, as its main executive.

Mrs. Korngold is fluent in 4 languages (Portuguese, English, French and Spanish). Mrs. Korngold is also an author with three published books.

Mariana Cruso

Mariana was born in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. She is married and has been living in the US since December, 2006. Prior to living in the US, Mariana and her family lived in London-UK for 9 months. She enjoys traveling and yoga.

Mariana has been working with FoR since March 2007 and is responsible for marketing and communications efforts regarding memberships, sponsorships, and donations. She also organizes events and fundraising efforts.

Prior to joining Friends of Renascer, Mariana worked as an Executive Assistant for The Icla da Silva Foundation in New York. While in Brazil, she worked as a Human Resources Specialist for Citigroup and was a volunteer at “Teu Sonho, Meu Sonho”.

Danny Claudio

Danny has been helping Friends of Renascer since 2006.

Danny Claudio currently works with JPMorgan's ADR clienTs in Latin America.  Prior to joining JPMorgan in 2007, Danny worked as a product controller for Debt Capital Markets and Equity Capital Markets at Deutsche Bank in New York.  

He earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance and International Business at New York University in addition to a certificate in Business and European Integration at Sciences-Po, Paris. Danny is fluent in English, Portuguese, French and Spanish.

Our Volunteers

Fabiana Saba Sutton

Fabiana Saba Sutton was born in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. She has been in the US for over six years. Before moving to the US, she lived in Paris, Milan, Tokyo and Sao Paulo, working as a fashion model. Fabiana was a host of her own television show in Brazil for 3 years, and co-hosted a radio show. She also studied at the New York Film Academy and The Lee Strasberg Institute, and worked as an actress in theater and short films.

Prior to joining Friends of Renascer, Fabiana volunteered for a year at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in the pediatric ward, as well as a part of the host committee for Brazil Foundation.

Fabiana is currently studying psychology at Marymount Manhattan College and is a proud mom.
