Fund Our Endownment Campaign: Renascer Forever

Non-profit organizations concentrate on redistributing wealth, not in creating new wealth; and therefore they end up fighting for a piece of the philanthropic pie.  Since the problems they try to solve are such large scale ones, philanthropy by itself is not enough.  Non-profit organizations are always struggling to raise money and they are always trapped on a situation of scarce capital and limited growth and development.

When non-profit organizations decide to create a Trust fund they are searching for financial sustainability and autonomy.  This way they can rely on a stable and permanent source of income to continue with its activities. In addition, they increase their ability to plan in the long run, since it is safer to administer its mission and cause.

Although Renascer, as its results and impact measurement have shown, has been able to grow in quality, its management always faces the uncertainty of whether or not partners and sponsors will renew for another year.

Therefore, Renascer Forever Trust’s objective is:

• Guarantee the complete fulfillment of the Assistance Program and of all of the services provided in the different phases of the cycle of institutional life.

• Guarantee a minimum financial stability necessary for a good institutional performance without depending on the variable flow of donations.
