Friends of Renascer (FoR)

We are an office of Associação Saúde Criança Renascer (ASCR), established in NY as a US 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that helps promoting and fundraising for Saúde Criança Renascer (ASCR) in Brazil whose mission is to provide assistance to children and families from Hospital da Lagoa, who live below the poverty line, with the objective of promoting self-sufficiency and breaking the admission/readmission cycle.  Renascer's vision is to become a model of reference, stimulating the reproduction of its methodology in Brazil and worldwide, where similar health and poverty challenges are faced.

FoR is the center for reference and dissemination of the Saúde Criança Renascer’s (ASCR) model in the United States and was established in New York City in 2000.
